Even in colder weather, I’d rather have more than enough fluids than not enough. On really hot and humid days, I’ll go through a bottle that size in 10-15 miles. I’m more interested in being able to keep riding rather than looking for a place to refill water bottles. If the choice is hydrate or die, I choose hydrate. Plus the larger bottles are easier to take out and put back in cages. BTW, the bottle in the pic isn’t what I normally ride with.
