Hey all! Sorry I’ve been absent of late. Hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances. Was on vacation for my daughter’s spring break at the beginning of March and then came home to the madness that is COVID-19. Fortunately, both my wife and I can telework. Our daughter has to finish her college semester from home. We each have our own private space to use during the day so as to avoid bothering stepping over each other. Sun’s out, guns out… Box Hill on Sunday. I have to say I now see the place of lined shorts. Sunny day, started out early at about 9 degrees and knew it would get up to 13-14 so I had arm warmers and planned (hoped) to take them off. But if you wear fleece-lined knicks to get a bit more warmth in your legs then it looks odd once your down to bare arms. And leg warmers keep your knees warm but leave a cold section between them and the base-layer on your torso, where you just have thin Lycra… Read more »

Lined everything is very useful in my part of the world, and short sleeved jerseys are bought with the budget angel on the shoulder asking “will you ever use it outside?”…
Well, if you ever get over you’ll have to also come over to the Isle of Wight and do that circuit too. It’s a great ride of just over 100 Km – that’s always assuming we do get to complete our move there sometime in the future!
This is honestly getting a bit old now. This winter has been fantastic for cross country skiing, but with every race canceled now (guess why!) the snow can **** off…
